Beyond the Drift: A Reading with David ScottWinchester Poetry Festival, in association with Space in the City, presented a lunchtime reading by David Scott of works from his newly-published collection Beyond the Drift: New & Selected Poems (Bloodaxe Books). Rev’d Canon Dr David Scott is a published poet, playwright and religious writer, and a former Rector of St Lawrence with St Swithun-upon-Kingsgate. Space in the City is an ecumenical venture organised by lay, licensed, ordained and associate members of Winchester’s city churches: St Bartholomew and St Lawrence with St Swithun-upon-Kingsgate, St Peter’s and the United Church.
