    During the talk Salley Vickers refers to a church in Venice whose paintings inspired her to write Miss Garnet’s Angelthe Chiesa dell’Angelo San Raffaele.
    After the talk a questioner asks about Ms Vickers’ fourth novel, The Other Side of You. In her reply, Ms Vickers mentions its inspiration from a painting which, by happy coincidence, was the cover image of the May 2017 issue of St Lawrence’s parish magazine:  Caravaggio’s Supper at Emmaus (1601), in the National Gallery, London.
