A series of four reflections on the nature of Inspiration and Place.  Four people from the worlds of art, textiles, poetry and music engage in dialogue with Rev’d Amanda Goulding.

29th AprilAlice Kettle – Textile Artist
Fellow of the Royal Society of Designer Craftsmen. 
Creator of wall hanging embroideries, as at the Winchester Discovery Centre, and altar frontals.

20th MayAndrew Lumsden – Organist
Director of Music at Winchester Cathedral;  conductor and Director of Music of the Waynflete Singers.

This dialogue is available here to play or download.  At the end of the dialogue, Andrew Lumsden plays J.S. Bach’s fugue in E flat major, BWV522 (“St Anne”);  the microphones were not well placed for the organ, but the piece is audible on the recording.  *

Space in the City is organised by members of the churches of St Lawrence with St Swithun, St Peter’s and the United Church, in conjunction with the School of Spirituality.
